Hyderabad :The Information and Public Relations Department of Telangana has made an appeal to the public to contribute photos, videos, and other contemporary items related to the Telangana movement and significant events in the state’s history.

The government aims to collect and preserve these valuable artifacts to document the unique journey of Telangana. The submission deadline for the items is set for July 5th, and interested individuals are encouraged to participate and seize this opportunity to contribute to the state’s historical archive.
Preserving Telangana’s Rich Heritage:
K Ashok Reddy, the Special Commissioner of the Information and Public Relations Department, highlighted the rich history, civilization, and cultural heritage of Telangana. He emphasized that the state’s formation movement was a remarkable chapter in its history. Overcoming numerous challenges, the people of Telangana, under the leadership of K. Chandrasekhar Rao, united peacefully and achieved statehood on June 2, 2014. In the past nine years, Telangana has emerged as a model state, making significant progress in development and welfare. The recent grand decennial celebrations further underscored the state’s achievements.
Call for Public Participation:
To commemorate and preserve the milestones of Telangana’s journey, the government is urging citizens to contribute their personal collections of photos, videos, and other items related to the Telangana movement and significant historical events. By actively participating in this program, the public can play a crucial role in ensuring that the state’s history is documented accurately and comprehensively.
