Telangana Government Prioritizes Minority Development in Narayanapet District

Hyderabad : Telangana’s Home Minister, Mohammed Mahmood Ali, expressed the government’s commitment to prioritizing the welfare and development of minority communities. During a visit to Narayanapet district, he inaugurated various development initiatives, including the construction of a community building for the minority population in Kalal Vari, the establishment of a crematorium compound wall at Bibi Dargah in Narayanapet ward 10, funding for the Eklaspur Eco Park, and an environmental education hall. Additionally, a sewing machine distribution program was organized for local minority women.

Minister Mahmood Ali emphasized that the leadership of CM Kalvakuntla Chandrasekhar Rao is steering Telangana towards comprehensive development, with a particular focus on supporting Muslim minorities. He highlighted initiatives such as financial aid for foreign education, the Kalyana Lakshmi and Shaadi Mubarak schemes for young women, and the Mission Bhagiratha scheme, ensuring electricity and drinking water accessibility. The minister also noted the establishment of mosques in the state secretariat and ongoing support for imams and mauzams.

Chairman of Minority Finance Corporation, Imtyaz Ishaq, commended Telangana’s development efforts, especially for Muslim minorities. MLA Rajender Reddy thanked the Chief Minister for allocating a substantial budget for minority subsidies, emphasizing the peaceful environment and educational advancements in Narayanapet district. MP Manne Srinivas Reddy highlighted the district’s remarkable development over the past decade, particularly for poor women, who receive financial assistance, as well as educational and healthcare improvements. The event also witnessed the distribution of sewing machines to 200 women, symbolizing the government’s commitment to uplifting minority communities.
