Hyderabad :Â During his spirited addresses in Khammam and Sathupalli, BRS Working President and Minister KTR hailed CM KCR as a trailblazer, becoming the first leader from the southern region to achieve a remarkable hat-trick as Chief Minister. Amid massive gatherings, Minister KTR passionately urged the crowds to cast their votes in favor of CM KCR, emphasizing their crucial role in Telangana’s ongoing growth narrative.
In Khammam, Minister KTR paid tribute to the legendary actor and former Chief Minister Late NT Rama Rao by unveiling his statue. He recalled NTR’s immense contribution in instilling pride among Telugu people across the country. Drawing a parallel, he noted that while NTR was a revered actor and leader, he couldn’t secure a hat-trick as Chief Minister. Minister KTR expressed confidence that under CM KCR’s leadership, Telangana would witness this historic feat, buoyed by the love and support of the people and the blessings of NT Rama Rao.
Taking a swipe at the Congress party, Minister KTR criticized their six guarantees, highlighting the party’s lack of coordination and its fragmented commands at different levels. He dismissed the expired warranty of Congress and cautioned against taking their promises seriously. Expressing concerns over the six guarantees, Minister KTR warned of potential consequences under Congress rule, including limited power supply, frequent changes in leadership, and a surge in corruption scandals.
Regarding Congress leaders visiting the state in the run-up to elections, Minister KTR likened their promises to singers serenading households before a festival, cautioning the public to remain vigilant and not fall for their deceitful tactics. He raised concerns about Congress leaders selling election tickets for exorbitant sums and speculated that they might similarly compromise the state’s interests if given the opportunity.
Minister KTR also questioned the credibility of Congress’s promise to increase pensions, contrasting it with Telangana’s track record of providing substantial support to senior citizens, widows, and the physically challenged. He challenged the claims made by Congress about power supply, inviting them to check the electricity situation firsthand. Minister KTR underscored that CM KCR’s administration prioritizes the dignity and well-being of marginalized groups, setting a benchmark in pension provision that surpasses other states led by Congress or BJP.
