Hyderabad(Nov, 18) :Â On his father Kantilal Shah’s 75th birthday, Siddharath Shah did something special. He adopted a Capuchin Monkey as a unique way to celebrate the occasion. This isn’t the first time the Shah family has shown their kindness to animals. Before this, Siddharath Shah’s son adopted a Tiger, Leopard, and Cheetah on his own birthday. The Shah family has been regularly helping the Hyderabad Zoo for the past 15 years by donating and adopting many animals and birds.
To honor this commitment, on the Diamond Jubilee celebration, the Minister for Environment, Forests, Science & Technology, T.S. Allola Indrakaran Reddy, presented a shawl and a memento to Kantilal Shah. The Minister also released a pair of Capuchin Monkeys into the enclosure for visitors to see.
Dr. Sunil S Hiremath, the Curator of Nehru Zoological Park in Hyderabad, expressed gratitude for the support. He emphasized that wildlife conservation and education are the main goals of the zoo, and the Shah family’s involvement, especially Kantilal Shah’s, is a significant contribution to the animal adoption program
