Hyderabad(Nov, 19) : The Butterfly Conservation Society in Hyderabad recently gathered for a memorial meeting to honor the late Tej Kumar, its Founding President. Kumar played a crucial role in establishing Butterfly Parks throughout the state. His dedication to the environment, especially butterflies, is remarkable. Thanks to his guidance, the Butterfly Conservation Society transformed into a lively non-governmental institution.
Members expressed their commitment to continuing Kumar’s work by educating the public and creating habitats for butterflies. These beautiful creatures not only enhance the scenery but also contribute to the environment as pollinators and bioindicators, indirectly supporting our food security.
The society members paid their respects to Dr. Tej Kumar and expressed gratitude to the Nehru Zoological Gardens for hosting his memorial at the Butterfly Park, a project he worked hard to establish.
