Child Safety Awareness Takes Center Stage in Shankarpally Mandal Schools

Rangareddy(Nov, 15) : During Child Safety Week, the Learning Space Foundation, a respected NGO in Telangana, took proactive steps by organizing a comprehensive poster campaign in 13 government schools in Shankarpally mandal, Rangareddy district. Their goal was to empower and educate 2000 students on protecting themselves from sexual assaults, understanding the significance of the POCSO Act for children’s safety, and learning important lessons about internet safety.

The initiative was led by Learning Space Founder Kaumudi, along with other foundation members and 40 engineering students from Chaitanya Bharati Institute of Technology’s service-oriented club, Chaitanya Spandana. Udayashree, the headmistress of the local boys’ primary school, coordinated the effort, adding a thoughtful touch by providing peanut chikki as a nutritious snack for all participating children.

This campaign not only raised awareness but also made a positive impact on the community.
