Hyderabad(Nov, 17) : On Friday, at Methodist College of Engineering and Technology in Abids, Traffic ACP Shankaraju visited to talk to students about the serious issue of drug addiction among young people. He stressed the importance of following traffic rules and showed CCTV footage of accidents to illustrate the consequences, while encouraging the use of seat belts and helmets for safety.
During the session, ACP Shankaraju encouraged students to avoid driving under the influence of alcohol and using cell phones while driving. He highlighted the individual’s role in making positive changes, urging them to stay away from drugs and cigarettes.
Ravi Kumar, SI, Abids, also played a vital role by explaining traffic rules and discussing the impact of legal cases and police records on job opportunities. ACP Shankaraju’s efforts were appreciated, and the Director honored him, expressing the hope for more such informative events in the future.
The event ended with an interactive session, aiming to instill a sense of responsibility among students to contribute to a safer and healthier community.
