Hyderabad(Nov, 1) :Â KTR, the working president of the BRS, addressed the people of Kamareddy, highlighting the upcoming election’s significance. He emphasized that this electoral battle in Telangana is essentially a contest between the “Delhi rulers,” symbolized by Congress leaders like Rahul Gandhi and DK Shiva Kumar, and the people of Telangana. KTR also criticized Rahul Gandhi, labeling him a reader, not a leader, and noted that the people of Telangana have a long history of struggles, including their fight against previous rulers like Jawaharlal Nehru and Indira Gandhi.
He criticized the Congress party for its historical actions, such as forcefully uniting Telangana and Andhra Pradesh in 1956 and delaying the formation of Telangana until 2014. KTR urged voters to remember the difficulties faced during Congress rule, including issues with agriculture, water supply, and inadequate support for farmers. He expressed skepticism about Congress’s promises, like increasing pensions.
KTR also dismissed challenges from political opponents, including Revanth Reddy, and highlighted the achievements and promises of the BRS, such as increasing pensions, healthcare coverage, and support for farmers. He encouraged the people to support CM KCR and expressed confidence in changing Kamareddy’s fate through the upcoming elections
