Hyderabad(Oct, 20): Jagan Mohan Rao has become the president of the Hyderabad Cricket Association in a closely contested election. The election took place at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad, with Jagan Mohan winning by just one vote, securing 63 votes, while Amarnath received 62 votes. The other candidates, Anil Kumar and PL Srinivas, got 34 and 10 votes, respectively.
In the race for vice-president, Daljeet Singh from the Good Governance panel emerged victorious with a 17-vote lead, getting 63 votes, while T Srinivas received 46 votes and Sridhar received 41 votes. For the joint secretary post, Basavaraju narrowly defeated Chitti Sridhar by just one vote, with Basavaraju securing 60 votes and Sridhar receiving 59 votes. United Members of HCA panel’s CJ Srinivas Rao will serve as the treasurer, winning with a 33-vote lead, receiving 66 votes compared to his rival Sanjeev’s 33 votes
