Hyderabad(Mar, 2) : On the birth anniversary of the esteemed former Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly Speaker, Duddilla Sripada Rao, Telangana State’s Director General of Police, Ravi Gupta, orchestrated a solemn state function at the Chief Office on Saturday. The commemorative event saw the presence of notable figures such as Railway and Road Safety Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Mahesh M Bhagwat, Inspector General of Police (IGP) for Provisions & Logistics and Training M. Ramesh, Assistant Inspector General (AIG) M. Ramana Kumar, alongside the chief office staff.
DGP Ravi Gupta led the tributes, honoring Sripada Rao’s significant contributions to the state and its legislative body. Attendees fondly remembered Sripada Rao’s unwavering commitment to public service and his profound influence on the political sphere of the region. The memorial served as a poignant moment to pay homage to his life and achievements. In a parallel commemoration, a state-level program was also held at the Telangana State Police Housing Corporation Limited’s office. Police Housing Corporation Managing Director M Ramesh, along with the Corporation’s engineering and administrative staff, paid their respects through floral tributes, further honoring the memory of the esteemed former Speaker.
