Disability Assistance Pension Raised to Rs. 4016/- in Telangana, CM Highlights Inclusive Development
Medak(Aug, 23): Telangana state is witnessing substantial development across various sectors. The BRS party is poised to assume power in the upcoming days, as affirmed by the State Chief Minister, K. Chandrasekhar Rao. During his visit to the Medak Collectorate office, he addressed a gathering after a BRS party meeting, expressing his optimism about the state’s progress. Notably, he announced an increase in assistance pension for disabled individuals, raising it from Rs. 3016/- to Rs. 4016/-. Telangana’s commitment to inclusive governance is evident, with a significant rise in the number of pension beneficiaries from 23 lakhs to 54 lakhs.
The Chief Minister highlighted Telangana’s remarkable achievements, such as providing clean drinking water to every household and ensuring uninterrupted 24-hour electricity supply across all sectors. K. Chandrasekhar Rao announced several developmental initiatives for the Medak Assembly Constituency, including the establishment of a revenue division, a degree college in Ramaim Pet, the construction of an outer ring road, and substantial financial support for municipalities and infrastructure projects.
He contrasted the BRS party’s dedication to progress with the past governance of Congress and Telugu Desam Party, noting how their rule brought challenges to areas like Ghanpur, which have now been addressed. Additionally, the Chief Minister emphasized the ongoing efforts to provide essential resources like water from projects like Kaleswaram and Mission Bhagiratha. Amidst political discourse, he underscored the BRS government’s commitment to farmers and landowners.
