Hyderabad(June, 29): State Ministers Dr. V. Srinivas Goud and Gangula Kamalakar, along with a high-level delegation, have embarked on a foreign tour to South Korea’s capital Seoul and Singapore to study tourism development in Telangana. The visit comes as Chief Minister KCR emphasizes the state’s tourism development efforts.
Since the formation of Telangana state, Chief Minister KCR has placed significant importance on the development of tourism, according to State Minister Dr. V. Srinivas Goud. Ambitious projects, including the development and beautification of cable bridges, ropeways, tank bunds, and the introduction of international-level attractions such as musical fountains, laser shows, giant wheels, wave pools, water rides, and water games, are being carried out in Mahbubnagar and Karimnagar districts.
The delegation, comprising Vice President of the State Planning Commission B Vinod Kumar, Chairman of the State Cultural Sarathi Rasamai Balakishan, Principal Secretary of the Irrigation Department Rajat Kumar, officials from the Irrigation Department, Managing Director of the Tourism Development Corporation Manohar, and senior officials from various departments, will study the development of the Maneru riverfront and other tourist destinations in the state.
Their foreign tour aims to study and implement state of the art tourism sites based on the instructions of CM KCR. The delegation will explore tourism development models in Seoul and Singapore, gathering valuable insights to enhance Telangana’s tourism industry.
The visit underscores the government’s commitment to developing tourism in the state, ensuring the introduction of world-class attractions and enhancing the overall tourism experience for visitors.
