Hyderabad(Aug, 25) : Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao praised the state’s remarkable display of communal harmony by unveiling a temple, mosque, and church within the Secretariat premises. Alongside Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan, KCR inaugurated these three places of worship, situated at the heart of the state’s administrative activities.
Addressing the audience at the mosque, the Chief Minister emphasized his government’s unwavering commitment to upholding communal peace and unity in Telangana. He highlighted the superior quality of the newly constructed mosque compared to its predecessor from the Nizam era. KCR regarded the establishment of these diverse places of worship as a shining model of communal understanding, expressing his hope that such harmony could resonate universally. He eloquently stated, “We have set an extraordinary example of how three siblings can collaborate, pray, and coexist peacefully. This lesson of unity is invaluable for the entire nation.” The mosque’s inauguration witnessed the presence of dignitaries including the state Home Minister Mehmood Ali, Chief Secretary Shanthi Kumari, AIMIM leader and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi, AIMIM’s floor leader in the Telangana Assembly Akbaruddin Owaisi, Waqf Board Chairman Masih Ullah, TSMFC Chairman Imtiyaz Ishaq and various religious leaders.
