Mumbai : Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actress Jennifer Mistry has accused the show’s producer Asit Modi and some crew members of sexual harassment.
According to the information received from the Mumbai Police, they have received a written complaint from actress Jennifer Mistry, however, no case has been registered in this matter yet. A senior police officer said that after receiving the complaint, they have started their investigation.
The female actress told the police in her complaint that Asit Modi often used to misbehave with her on the set, call her to his room, send messages and other crew members also mentioned threatening incidents.
Police said that we have started our investigation, soon the statement of the people related to this matter will be recorded.
