Karnataka : The Congress is back with a resounding victory in the Karnataka elections. Congress has won 136 out of 224 seats while BJP has got 65 seats, JDS 19 seats and independents 4 seats. After the formation of the BJP government in the country, the Congress did not get such a big victory in any major state. In this election, the people of Karnataka have definitely told that they do not want a government of hatred and division but a government that solves their real issues. After the humiliating defeat of the BJP in the Karnataka elections, one thing is certain that the people of the country now want a change. BJP got this message from South India that the people of South India have rejected the politics of hatred. There has been love and brotherhood here for centuries, which will continue in the future as well.

The Congress has won a decisive victory in the Karnataka assembly elections, but another battle looms large over it, that of the Chief Minister’s post. i.e. Who will become the Chief Minister?, there are many claimants in the party but two have the strongest claim on it, one former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and the other one Gandhi family loyalist DK Shivakumar. However, considering the many upcoming electoral contests, the party is unlikely to get any surprises.
