Hyderabad(Sep, 23): Sintex, a subsidiary of the Welspun Group, is set to establish a new manufacturing unit in Telangana, with a substantial investment of Rs. 350 crore. This strategic move is not only a significant boost to the region’s industrial landscape but also promises to generate employment opportunities for around 1000 individuals. The foundation stone for the upcoming Sintex manufacturing plant is scheduled to be laid on September 28, 2023, in Chandanvelly, Rangareddy District. The facility will focus on producing a range of products, including tanks, pipes, auto components, and ancillaries.
KT Rama Rao, the Minister for IT and Industries in Telangana, expressed his appreciation for Sintex’s decision to expand its operations within the state. He commended the company’s leadership for investing in Telangana and attributed their choice to the state’s progressive policies and world-class infrastructure. Minister KTR assured the company of the government’s unwavering support for all firms seeking to expand their operations within the state.
