Rotary Club and Sakina Foundation’s Mega Health and Cancer Screening Camp Attracts Over 200 Participants

Community Health Initiative: Free Health Camp Offers Comprehensive Services in Shaikpet

Hyderabad : The Rotary Club of Jubilee Hills and Sakina Foundation, in collaboration with MNJ and Oak Hospitals, hosted a highly successful Free Mega Health and Cancer Screening Camp on September 24, 2023, at the Suryanagar Colony playground in Shaikpet. This community-driven initiative aimed to provide comprehensive healthcare services, including cancer screening, mammography, cervical screenings, ECG, orthopedic, gynecological, pediatric care, blood tests, and medical consultations. The primary focus was on promoting early detection, which is crucial for improving survival rates in cancer cases.

Impressively, over 200 individuals from both the local community and marginalized groups participated in the camp, benefiting from these vital healthcare services. The event was graced by the presence of notable figures such as Ramakrishna SHO of Film Nagar, Venkateshwarlu SHO of Golconda, as well as members of the Rotary Club including Rtn A.G. Suresh, Rtn DGS Ramprasad, and many others.

Asif Hussain Sohail, the chairman of Sakina Foundation, expressed heartfelt gratitude to healthcare professionals and volunteers for their unwavering support in making this 93rd free health camp a resounding success, underlining the profound impact of community collaboration in healthcare outreach.
