Hyderabad(Dec, 21) :Â In the Musheerabad Police Station, Chikkadpally Division, Central Zone, Hyderabad City, FIR No: 455/2023 has been registered under Sections 454 and 380 IPC. The complainant, Miss. M. Debora, reported the incident on November 28, 2023, stating that upon returning home with her mother, they discovered a burglary. The lock was missing, and the bolt hook broken, with three almirahs and cupboards forcibly opened. Gold ornaments, cash, and ATM cards were stolen. The stolen property included gold chains, bangles, rings, earrings, and a pearl chain, totaling around 23.2 Tulas of gold and Rs. 93,000 in cash. The incident occurred between 1pm to 2pm at their residence in Lakshmi Anusha Apartment, Bakaram, Musheerabad.
Following the diligent efforts of the Musheerabad Police, led by Inspector D Venkat Reddy and Sub-Inspector Y Chalapathi Reddy, the accused, Rayapati Venkat Rao, aged 51, a farmer from Andhra Pradesh, was arrested on December 21, 2023. The police successfully recovered the stolen property, including gold chains, bangles, rings, earrings, and a pearl chain, amounting to around 20.14 Tulas, along with the bank ATM cards. Rayapati Venkat Rao has a history of involvement in 32 cases across various police stations in Hyderabad. This commendable work was carried out under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner of Police Sharat Chandra Pawar, and the supervision of Additional Deputy Commissioner B Anand Kumar and Assistant Commissioner K. Madhu Mohan Reddy, all from Central Zone, Hyderabad City.
