Hyderabad(July, 12) : MLC Kavitha led the BRS Party’s protest at Vidyut Soudha against TPCC’s statement in support of reducing and limit free power supply from 24 hours to 3 for the farmers of Telangana. Many leaders, workers, and supporters of the BRS Party joined her. The daughter of the Telangana Chief minister said after building hollow mountains of tall promises for Farmers under Farmer’s declaration a few days ago, the anti-farmer intent of the Congress Party now stands exposed.

Former Member of Parliament K. Kavitha said that Telangana Government under CM KCR and BRS Party has worked towards protecting farmers’ interests and strengthening them. The exemplary performance of harvest and investment for farmers, acknowledged globally and by famous economists as well. The data and ranking of Telangana across all charts are a testimony of how favorable policies that are in the best interest of the farmers can give excellent results both to the farmers and the State’s economy. She added, that the BRS Party is committed to protecting the interest of farmers at every step at all costs and nothing can deter them.
MLC Kavitha in her address while leading the BRS Party protest at Vidyut Soudha against Congress’s anti-farmer statement, lashed out at Rahul Gandhi and asked him if he also agreed with TPCC’s stand on reducing free electricity supply to the farmers. She further said that after making tall promises in Telangana and announcing the Farmers’ Declaration, Mr. Gandhi must clear his stand where he stands on farmers’ issues. Further, the daughter of Telangana CM said that if Mr. Rahul Gandhi has no answers for TPCC’s statement on reducing and limiting free electricity supply for farmers then he has no right to come to Telangana and speak with our farmers.
MLC Kavitha added that, Revanth Reddy has been in both TDP and Congress and these two parties never provided proper electricity to the farmers. Why are the Congress leaders upset when 24-hour power is given to farmers, asked Kavitha. She called up on the people to chase down Revanth Reddy if he visits any village for stating three hours of power supply was enough. Revanth Reddy should immediately apologize to the farmers, demanded Kavitha.
Talking to reporters while taking part in the protest program at Vidyut Soudha, Kavitha said that the farmers faced difficulties during the Congress rule for 60 years. There is no Rythu Bandhu anywhere in the country. KCR’s Rythu Bandhu scheme is being copied by others. Before joining the protest, MLC Kavitha in a tweet said that ‘How can any political party have a problem with 24 hours supply of free electricity to the farmers? Shocked to hear from TPCC that Congress wants farmers to have only 3 hours of electricity.
