Hyderabad: Ministers of State, Dr. V. Srinivas Goud and Sabitha Indra Reddy, along with MLC Goreti Venkanna, unveiled the statue of Bahujan Chakravarti Sardar Sarvai Papanna Goud at Kandukuru Square, Ranga Reddy district.
Speaking at the event, State Minister Dr. V. Srinivas Goud highlighted the heroic contributions of Sardar Sarvai Papanna Goud, who revolted against the Mughal rulers, conquered 33 forts, and established independent kingdoms about 350 years ago. He praised Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhara Rao for promoting all castes, religions, and professions in Telangana state. Sabitha Indra Reddy also expressed the government’s support for various professions, including the Geetha workers, and emphasized the importance of tree plantation to promote the Geetha profession in the Maheshwaram constituency. Several dignitaries and members of the Gowda community participated in the ceremony.
