London(Oct, 6) :Â Member of Legislative Council (MLC) Kalvakuntla Kavitha embarked on her two-day visit to London, commencing with a profound visit to the Ambedkar Museum. This symbolic tribute to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar marked the start of her enriching exploration. As she immersed herself in the museum’s exhibits, the enduring influence of Dr. Ambedkar’s ideals on modern Indian democracy deeply resonated with MLC Kavitha.
Expressing her sentiments, she acknowledged the significance of Dr. Ambedkar’s principles in Telangana’s journey to statehood, emphasizing their alignment with the state’s evolution. Dr. Ambedkar’s pioneering vision, notably in Article 3, which safeguards minority justice, played a pivotal role in Telangana’s reality today. MLC Kavitha also celebrated Dr. Ambedkar’s global influence, especially in championing women’s rights, highlighting the ongoing quest for true gender equality in India.
In response to her visit, Pankaj Sham Kumar, Joint Secretary of the Federation of Ambedkarite and Buddhist Organisations UK, welcomed MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha, praising her dedication to advancing Babasaheb Ambedkar’s ideology. He underscored her role in advocating for the installation of Dr. Ambedkar’s statue in the Telangana assembly, a testament to her commitment to Ambedkarite causes.
