Hyderabad : The Langer House Police have arrested three offenders involved in multiple property offences across Hyderabad, Cyberabad, and Rachakonda commissionerates. The accused were linked to a burglary case reported by businessman Shekar Goud on January 15, 2025, when gold ornaments were stolen from his residence while he was away for Sankranti celebrations.
Following an extensive investigation, including the analysis of over 100 CCTV cameras and fingerprint evidence, special police teams apprehended the accused—Are Sai Adithya (19), Namili David Raj alias Varun (18), and Maganti Sai Kumar (22)—from their respective residences on February 14, 2025.
Police recovered a total of 8.234 tolas of stolen gold from different cases, including gold necklaces, rings, bracelets, and chains linked to multiple burglaries. The gang targeted unoccupied houses and spent the stolen money on a lavish lifestyle, including parties and expensive items.
The accused have been involved in at least six cases across the three commissionerates, including burglaries in Langer House, Jubilee Hills, Chandanagar, Suraram, Nagole, and Vanasthalipuram.
The arrests were made under the supervision of DCP South West Zone G. Chandra Mohan and Addl. DCP M. Iqbal Siddiqui, with ACP Golconda Division Syed Fiaz closely monitoring the operation. Officers from Langer House and Golconda police stations played a crucial role in tracking the accused, leading to their capture.
The three offenders have been produced before the Hon’ble VI ACMM Court and sent to judicial custody.
