Unemployed Candidates Meet BRS Working President KTR Seeking Support Against Unfulfilled Promises by Congress Government
Hyderabad :Â Unemployed candidates and job aspirants recently met with Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Working President, K.T. Rama Rao, to voice their dissatisfaction with the Congress government’s failure to fulfill its promises. KTR criticized the Congress for making numerous promises to the unemployed, including extensive advertising of job calendars before elections and announcing dates and notifications for around ten exams, none of which have been issued.
He demanded the immediate release of the pending notifications and highlighted that the current Chief Minister, Revanth Reddy, had promised an increase of 2,000 jobs in Group-2 and a few thousand more in Group-3, but failed to deliver. Only 60 jobs were added to the previous government’s Group-1 notification, with technical excuses being used to avoid fulfilling job increase demands.
KTR reminded the government that the Congress party, in its first cabinet meeting, promised a mega DSC but has deceived the unemployed. He emphasized that BRS will hold the government accountable in the upcoming assembly session and assured job aspirants of BRS’s support and fight for the unemployed. KTR also demanded the selection of candidates for Group-1 mains in a 1:100 ratio, a demand previously made by the current Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka in the assembly while in opposition.
He criticized the scheduling of upcoming exams, such as TET, Group-1 prelims, DSC, Group-2, Group-1 mains, and Group-3, on back-to-back dates without sufficient preparation time for aspirants. He stressed the necessity of adequate time between exams since many students take multiple exams.
KTR called for the immediate recruitment of the promised 200,000 jobs and the announcement of a job calendar without delay. He warned that if these promises are not met, BRS leaders will protest on behalf of the unemployed. Failure to fulfill these promises may result in the same unemployed individuals, who helped the government come to power, causing its downfall.
