KTR Challenges Voters: ‘Current or Congress’ in Light of Power Cuts in Karnataka

Hyderabad(Nov, 14) : In a recent address to members of the Telangana Builders Association in Hyderabad, KTR highlighted the substantial increase in land value over the past decade, reaching 10-20 times its previous worth. He attributed this growth not only to Hyderabad but also to the entire Telangana region under Chief Minister KCR’s governance. KTR emphasized the role of stable government and capable leadership in driving development in the state.

Taking a swipe at the opposition, KTR contrasted the power situation in Karnataka, which faced Diwali power cuts, with Telangana’s consistent power supply, urging people to choose between “current or Congress.”

Reflecting on the past, KTR mentioned the prevalence of Naxalism during the Congress government in Telangana, attributing it to the party’s failure to provide essential services and security. He drew a distinction between the BRS government’s commitment to Telangana’s success and the opposition’s focus on winning elections.

Addressing concerns about the Musi River, KTR asserted that the Congress’s incompetence had contributed to its poor condition. He underscored Hyderabad’s pivotal role as the economic engine of Telangana, generating a significant portion of the state’s revenue.

Despite challenges, including the impact of COVID-19, KTR praised the continued development under Chief Minister KCR’s leadership. He highlighted the progress made in six and a half years by the BRS government, surpassing what the Congress achieved in six decades.

Looking ahead, KTR outlined plans for the development of a new Hyderabad between the Outer Ring Road and Regional Ring Road, emphasizing the connectivity benefits of the regional ring road. He compared Hyderabad’s future with Beijing’s five ring roads and outlined further infrastructure plans for enhanced water supply and transportation.

KTR concluded by appealing to voters to support BRS in the upcoming election, emphasizing that their vote would contribute to the continued progress and development of the state.
