Hyderabad(Jan, 13) : Hyderabad City Commissioner of Police, Kothakota Sreenivasa Reddy, emphasized the pivotal role played by the city’s armed forces in safeguarding the capital during his visit to the City Armed Forces Division and Training Wings. Commencing the day with a ceremonial parade at the Petlaburj ground, officers from various departments showcased their prowess. Commending the armed forces, the Commissioner, along with V. Satyanarayana IPS Jt.CP CAR Hqtrs and officers from different divisions, highlighted the evolution of the Hyderabad City Armed Forces since its inception in 1932.
The Commissioner praised the forces involved in VIP Security, Chief Minister, Governor Guards, and various other security roles for their robust performance. He urged continuous development of technical and physical skills to enhance the city’s reputation. Addressing specific departments, he outlined directives for VIP security, prisoner escorts, welfare measures for women officers, technological upgrades for drivers, and readiness for new police candidates in training centers. The program saw the participation of officers from diverse departments, reflecting a unified commitment to the city’s safety and security.
