Hyderabad : B. Shafiullah-IFS, Executive Officer Telangana State Haj Committee informed that, there was a formal visit to the GMR Airport, Shamshabad in which Mohammed Saleem Chairman, Telangana State Haj Committee visited Main Terminal, RGI Airport, Shamshabad during inspection of the Main Terminal on Wednesday for the better facilities and arrangements to be made for the Haj Pilgrims on their Departure arrangements such as wazuand Namaz area, holding area, exit gate, Immigration counters, security check and space for Zam-Zam Storage its security & location and conveyor belt on arrival at main terminal building GMR airport etc.
The Departure flights of Haj pilgrims are scheduled from7thJune. Around more than 6000 Haj pilgrims from Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Maharashtra will be departing at RGI Airport Shamshabad.
During the inspection Mohammed Saleem, Chairman, Telangana State Haj Committee gave instructions to RGI Airport Authorities and GMR officials to make necessary departure arrangements for Haj pilgrims at main terminal. He further said to the RGI Airport and GMR officials that, to extend all facilities to the Haj pilgrims for Haj-2023 a grand success.
Syed Nizamuddin (Narsingi), Md. Jafar Khan(Gajwel), Officials of the GMR, Customs, CISF, CSOand Irfan Shareef, Asst. Executive Officer, Telangana State Haj Committee and others were also present.
