Free Medical Camp for Accredited Women Journalists

Hyderabad: Information and Public Relations Commissioner Arvind Kumar-IAS said that a ten-day free medical camp for accredited women journalists is being held from 29th March to 9th of April, 2023 (except 30.03.2023 and 02.04.2023).

It may be recalled that on the occasion of award program for women journalists organized on International Women’s Day, women journalists appealed to the Municipal Administration Minister KT Rama Rao to organize a free medical camp.

Accordingly a free medical camp is being organized and medical examinations will be conducted at the head office of the Information and Public Relations Department in Masab Tank from the 29th of this month, he said in the statement.
This comprehensive health check up includes diagnostic tests like blood test (C.B.P), blood sugar, diabetic tests, lipid profile, thyroid, calcium, urine tests, vitamin B12, D3 etc., ECG, X-ray, ultrasonography, mammogram, pap smear, screening tests, medical officer examination, eye screening, dental examinations, Gynecology examinations etc. will be conducted. The reports of these examinations will be given on the same day.
The medical camp will be held between 7.00 am to 2.00 pm. The Commissioner appealed to all state-level accredited women journalists as well as accredited women journalists from Hyderabad and Rangareddy districts to use this opportunity. He also said that free medical camps will be organized for the accredited women journalists working in districts in the respective district centers.
