Hyderabad(Jan, 9) : Today, as part of the One Million Trees Plantation initiative, DELL Technologies in Hyderabad teamed up with the Learning Links Foundation to plant 500 saplings at Nehru Zoological Park (NZP), Hyderabad. The saplings included fruit-bearing plants like Guava and Pomegranate, flower-bearing plants like Hibiscus and Rose, and avenue plants like Bamboo.
The initiative was supported by VSNV Prasad, IFS, Director of Zoo Parks, and Dr. Sunil S. Hiremath, IFS, Curator of Nehru Zoological Park, along with 150 Dell employees led by Mani Shyam, Head of Dell Technologies in Hyderabad, and Latha, the program coordinator.
VSNV Prasad expressed gratitude to Dell Technologies for choosing Hyderabad Zoo for this large-scale plantation program as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities. He emphasized that the fruit-bearing plants would attract more birds for their feed and nests, contributing to the zoo’s ecosystem.
