Hyderabad(June, 5) : Slamming Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for tying to tarnish image of India on foreign soil, Telangana state BJP official spokesperson N V Subhash alleged that Congress leaders never understood the ancient culture and tradition of the country.
Though Congress party has ruled the country for decades, but always adopted appeasement policy for its political survival and ignored Indian culture, he accused.
It is habit of Rahul Gandhi to denigrate and defame the country’s image whenever he visit a foreign country with his puerile statements because Indians never believe or accept his statements , he added.
On the comment of Rahul Gandhi over “Sengol” installed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in parliament , the BJP leader accused Congress party of trying to distort Indian tradition and culture and it never shown any courage to accept Indian history and culture which was destroyed during last seven decades.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is a born Hindu and he has deep knowledge of Indian culture and tradition, he asserted adding that there was a different meaning of “ change” and “correction” . Modi government never changed Indian history. But initiating efforts for making correction of wrong history written by Congress and presenting the facts before the people is a welcome step, Subhash said.
