Medak(June, 5) : State finance and health Minister Harish Rao laid the foundation stone of Mudiraj Self Esteem Building in Medak town as part of his visit to Medak Constituency. Council Deputy Chairman Banda Prakash, Medak MLA Padma Devender Reddy, MLC Sheri Subhash Reddy, Andol MLA Kranti Kiran, Women Commission Chairman Sunitha Lakshmareddy, Narsapur MLA Madan Reddy, local public representatives and Mudiraj community leaders participated in the programme.
During his visit minister Harish Rao said that, Joint Medak district became the platform for self-esteem buildings. In Jaheerabad, Sangareddy, Gajvel, Siddipet, self-esteem buildings have been established. These self-esteem buildings are very useful for moving forward in the society. The state government has undertaken many welfare programs for the Mudiraj community by spending around 1000 crores.
In Telangana today, the membership of the Fishermen’s Association is 4.5 lakh. Before coming to Telangana, only two lakh were registered. There is an opportunity to give membership to 3 lakh people which we will give.
Banda Prakash from the Mudiraj community was given the opportunity to become the deputy chairman of the council. Telangana government gives due respect to Mudiraj community. We want MLAs to come from Mudiraj community in future.
KCR government will come to power for the third time with you. The government provides all possible support to the Mudiraj community, which will strive for further development in the future.
