Hyderabad: The Congress party’s recent targeting of the BRS (Bharatiya Rashtra ) for providing free electricity to farmers seems nothing more than a political ploy and an unnecessary protest devoid of ethics. It’s puzzling to understand their motive behind protesting when farmers in the state of Telangana are content with the remarkable progress in agriculture. With record-breaking yields of Paddy cultivated on 53.7 lakh acres and a new high achieved in the cultivation of Rabi (Yasangi) crops, covering almost 69.24 lakh acres this agriculture year,it is evident that the state’s farmers are benefiting from excellent governance and unwavering support.
The government’s initiatives like proper irrigation and the Rythu Bima scheme have contributed significantly to the farmers’ well-being. It stands as an exemplar to the entire nation, as it contrasts with the tragic plight of farmers in the past who resorted to suicide due to the lack of support. It appears that Congress leaders may struggle to digest the success and achievements of CM KCR.
Instead of resorting to protests and wasting time, they should seize the opportunity to learn from our CM’s art of governance and contribute constructively to the state’s progress.
