Hyderabad(Dec, 22) :Â In a bold move, Dr. Dasoju Sravan, a senior leader of the BRS party, has called upon Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy to release a comprehensive White Paper outlining the future development plans for Telangana and the welfare of its communities. Dr. Sravan, in an open letter to the Chief Minister, criticized the recent expenditure on Assembly sessions aimed at releasing White Papers, questioning the need to defame the previous government. He accused the Congress Government of engaging in divisive politics, emphasizing the importance of constructive opposition.
Expressing concern over the current focus on politically charged activities, Dr. Sravan urged the government to concentrate on future development plans. He called for a balanced view on debt discussions, highlighting the achievements and public wealth created during the previous administration under KCR’s leadership. Dr. Sravan warned against deterring future industrial investments in the state and stressed the need to recognize Telangana’s fiscal achievements.
Addressing the allegations of glorifying the regimes of united Andhra Pradesh, Dr. Sravan asserted that the White Papers were anti-Telangana and pro-Andhra, created to denigrate the statehood movement. He questioned the government’s stance on Telangana’s pre-formation development and urged a shift in administrative priorities, particularly focusing on stalled projects and unemployment benefits.
Defending the state’s fiscal achievements, Dr. Sravan highlighted the significant increase in the state budget, agricultural land under cultivation, rice production, drinking water facilities, and electricity generation. He emphasized that while the current debt may be substantial, Telangana has excelled in welfare and infrastructural development, becoming a leader among all states.
In a final appeal to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Dr. Sravan urged the release of a forward-looking White Paper that outlines future development plans for Telangana and promotes a positive and constructive approach to governance
