Hyderabad(Sep, 8) : TPCC President Revanth Reddy and many Congress leaders presented a formal petition to DGP Anjani Kumar, stressing the need for heightened security during the upcoming CWC meetings and the public gathering scheduled for the 16th and 17th of this month. Following the submission, Revanth Reddy addressed the media, highlighting the tragic incident of home guard Ravinder’s suicide due to unpaid salaries, which had been brought to the DGP’s attention.
The CWC meetings are slated to take place at Taj Krishna on the 16th and 17th, with the “Vijaya Bheri Sabha” planned for the latter date. Revanth Reddy expressed concerns about alleged conspiracies by BJP and BRS to obstruct the use of the parade ground for the event, calling upon KCR to demonstrate political acumen and avoid government interference. He emphasized the importance of allowing the Vijayabheri Sabha to proceed smoothly, asserting that the public is keenly observing KCR’s actions and that the event would now take place in Tukkuguda, promising a splendid organization of the Vijayabheri Sabha
TPCC President Revanth Reddy visited the family of home guard Ravinder Reddy who committed suicide and died at Osmania Hospital on Friday. On behalf of Congress, financial assistance of Rs. 2 lakh has been announced to Ravinder’s family. Later Revanth Reddy spoke to the media.
