Telangana People Will Support Naming of Parliament Building after Ambedkar: Kavitha Kalwakuntla
Hyderabad : BRS MLC K. Kavitha Rao expressed her support for the demand made by Bhim Army leader Chandrasekhar Azad to name the new Parliament building as Constitution maker BR Ambedkar building and install Ambedkar’s statue in it. During Azad’s two-day visit to Hyderabad, he met with K Kavitha, and they discussed various political policies and the state government’s programs for the Bahujans and Dalits in Telangana.
Azad praised the Dalit Bandhu scheme and, along with Kavitha, paid tribute to Dr. BR Ambedkar at the 125 feet statue erected by the Telangana government. Kavitha thanked Azad for accepting the invitation and emphasized that the people of Telangana would support his struggle for the backward communities.
Chandrasekhar Azad welcomed BRS becoming a national party and praised the efforts of the Telangana state government in uplifting marginalized communities. He also demanded that Ambedkar’s statue be installed in the new Parliament and highlighted the need for the central government’s intervention in the recent Manipur incident, which he deemed as the worst thing happening in the country.
