Mulugu : Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi are on a tour of Telangana. Today they addressed a public meeting in Mulugu in which they fiercely attacked the ruling party BRS and AIMIM.
Rahul Gandhi’s recent comments shed light on the political landscape in Telangana, emphasizing a crucial battle between the BRS and Congress, while BJP stands as a common adversary. The BJP, despite its defeat in the region, seems to favor the BRS, even gaining support from AIMIM. This alliance is exemplified by the BRS’s alignment with BJP’s stance on critical issues like farm laws and GST in parliament, further solidifying their partnership. Interestingly, this alliance has seemingly shielded Telangana’s Chief Minister, KCR, from federal investigative agencies like the ED, CBI, or income tax. While opposition leaders and CMs in other states are regularly targeted, KCR remains unscathed due to this political alignment.
Rahul Gandhi warns that a vote for the BRS is essentially a vote for the BJP, as they are seen as being two sides of the same coin. This unique political landscape mirrors a broader struggle across the country, where the BJP continually challenges those with differing ideologies. Rahul Gandhi’s call to action is clear: support his party to counteract this alliance and its potential repercussions, not just in Telangana but throughout the entire nation.
