Hyderabad : The political landscape in Telangana has recently seen a flurry of accusations and counter-accusations. On one side of the spectrum, the Congress party has labeled BRS Chief and Telangana Chief Minister KCR as the alleged ‘B-Team’ of the BJP, raising suspicions about their affiliations. Meanwhile, BJP spokesperson NV Subhash has asserted that the reins of Telangana’s political landscape are now under the influence of Asaduddin Owaisi, with a pointed question regarding the lack of development in Hyderabad’s old city. Subhash noted that Owaisi, who once criticized KCR for the old city’s development, now appears to be in alignment with him just before the elections, sparking questions about the MIM party’s true priorities.

In response, Dr. Shravan Dasoju, a senior leader of the BRS party, vehemently defended KCR, emphasizing that KCR is not beholden to any external influence, whether it be Narendra Modi or Asaduddin Owaisi. Dasoju praised KCR’s unique leadership style, highlighting his ability to unite people from various religious and societal backgrounds—a quality he believes is unparalleled in the country’s political landscape. These recent exchanges underscore the complex and dynamic nature of politics in Telangana, where alliances and affiliations can shift rapidly in the run-up to elections.
