Hyderabad(Jan, 17) : In a landmark development during Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s inaugural visit to Davos, Telangana secured a substantial investment commitment of ₹12,400 Crores from the Adani Group. Chairman Gautam Adani inked four Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) with the Telangana government, outlining ambitious investments that will unfold over the coming years.
Adani Green Energy is set to inject ₹5,000 Crores into two Pumped Storage Projects, boasting a total capacity of 1350 MW. Simultaneously, AdaniConneX Data Centers will channel ₹5,000 Crores into establishing a Data Center campus in Chandanvelly with a robust 100 MW capacity.
Ambuja Cements Ltd. is poised to contribute ₹1,400 Crores to a new Cement Grinding unit in Telangana, boasting a capacity of 6.0 MTPA. Furthermore, Adani Aerospace and Defence will invest ₹1,000 Crores in Counter Drone Systems and Missile Development and Manufacturing Centres at the Adani Aerospace and Defence Park.
Notably, Telangana also embraced a game-changing initiative with GODI India Private Limited committing a whopping ₹8,000 Crore for a Lithium Giga Factory, poised to generate 12.5 GWh cell manufacturing and potentially creating 6000 jobs in its initial phase over a span of 5 years. This strategic collaboration marks a significant stride toward economic growth and job creation in the region.
