Hyderabad(Dec, 29) :Â MLAs K Srihari, Kaleru Venkatesh, and Mutha Gopal addressed critical issues, shedding light on the government’s recent actions and decisions. MLA Srihari emphasized that the year, despite being busy with assembly polls and festival security measures, concluded without any major incidents.
The politicians expressed concerns about the government’s handling of funds, accusing them of resorting to theatrics in the guise of white papers and legal proceedings. They welcomed the idea of white papers but insisted on independent judicial inquiries. The recent visit of ministers to the Kaleswaram project revealed conflicting figures, with allegations of corruption amounting to one lakh crore rupees.
They questioned discrepancies in the reported spending on the Kaleshwaram project and highlighted contradictions in the government’s claims about land allocation and project details. The leaders criticized ministers for making prejudiced comments before any trial, potentially influencing judicial inquiries.
In addition, they refuted claims about the government’s sincerity in seeking national status for the Kaleshwaram project, pointing out historical efforts by the state’s leadership. The politicians urged the Congress party to focus on fulfilling promises rather than making baseless accusations, emphasizing the need for transparency in budget allocation and implementation.
