Telangana Govt Firm on Rs 2 Lakh Farmer Loan Waiver Implementation Ahead of Schedule

Kothagudem : Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu reiterated the government’s commitment to implement a Rs 2 lakh loan waiver for farmers well ahead of the August deadline, dismissing opposition criticism as mere propaganda. Emphasizing accountability, he assured that public opinion would inform the formulation of guidelines for the Rythu Bharosa scheme, which will be discussed and legislated in the Assembly.

Addressing development concerns in Kothagudem, he highlighted plans for a super critical thermal power plant in Ramagundam and proposed initiatives like forming a municipal corporation by merging towns and establishing an IT hub.

He criticized previous administrations for financial mismanagement and pledged efficient use of public funds, promising swift action on pending projects such as the Sitarama Project to enhance irrigation and water supply infrastructure across Telangana.
