Bengaluru : Tejasvi Surya has made headlines by completing the Ironman 70.3 Goa triathlon, a grueling competition that involves a 1.9 km swim, a 90 km cycle ride, and a 21.1 km run, all within a remarkable time of 8 hours, 27 minutes, and 32 seconds. Surya dedicated his achievement to the athletes of India, recognizing their dedication and hard work in pursuit of excellence on the global stage.
After the race, he praised the Ironman event for attracting participants from over 50 countries, highlighting its status as a premier fitness challenge. Surya shared that his rigorous training over the last four months prepared him for this ultimate test of endurance, both physically and mentally. He credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Fit India initiative for inspiring him to pursue his fitness goals, emphasizing the importance of physical health for a young nation like India.
