School Students to Showcase Talents in Nature and Tiger Conservation: Nehru Zoological Park’s Grand Event in July 2023

Nehru Zoological Park, Hyderabad, to Celebrate Nature Conservation Day and International Tiger Day with Competitions for School Students in July 2023

Hyderabad : Nature Conservation Day and International Tiger Day will be celebrated on 28th and 29th July 2023 at Nehru Zoological Park, Hyderabad. To commemorate this occasion, a series of competitions and awareness programs have been organized specifically for school students. Prashant Bajirao Patil, IFS, Curator of Nehru Zoological Park, has invited school Head Masters/Principals to nominate two students from each school for participation in the competitions.

Interested students can register on the website www.nzptsfd.telangana.gov.in. The schedule includes a Quiz competition on Nature Conservation for secondary school students on 28th July from 10:30 am to 11:30 am. On the same day, a Drawing Competition on Tiger Conservation is open to primary and secondary school students, with soft copies to be submitted online before 27th July at 5 PM and hard copies to be physically submitted before 11 am on 29th July at the Curator’s office.

Additionally, a Craft Making competition for Primary School students and an Elocution contest on “Save Tigers” for Secondary School students will also be held on 28th July. Lastly, on 29th July, a Rally from Bioscope Hall to Tiger Enclosure, followed by an Animal Keepers Talk show, is scheduled for all participants from 10:30 am to 11:30 am. The winner school of the Inter-School competition will be presented with the prestigious Zoo Tiger Trophy-2023. All schools are encouraged to participate and make the event a grand success.
