Revanth Reddy Accuses KCR of Deceiving People of Telangana Again, Urges Support for Congress

Hyderabad(June, 23) : In a recent statement, TPCC President Revanth Reddy launched a scathing attack on Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, accusing him of attempting to deceive the people of Telangana once more. Reddy’s comments come in the wake of KCR’s decision to send his son, K.T. Rama Rao (KTR), as the face of the party in upcoming elections, raising questions about KCR’s trust in his own leadership.

KCR’s son cheats like KCR and does not think for the people,” exclaimed Revanth Reddy. He further criticized the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) party, claiming that they were ready to fool the people for the third time. Reddy appealed to the public not to be deceived again and to give the Congress party, which played a pivotal role in the formation of Telangana, another chance to govern.

The Congress leader made these remarks while addressing a gathering at the Thumkunta Municipal Center in Shameerpet Mandal, Medchal District. During the event, a significant number of people defected from the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Bharatiya Rashtra Samiti (BRS) party to join the Congress. Reddy extended a warm welcome to them, emphasizing that Sonia Gandhi, the former Congress president, fulfilled the long-standing aspiration of Telangana despite facing political challenges. He urged the people of Telangana to show gratitude to Sonia Gandhi for her role in the formation of the state.

Taking aim at KCR’s recent remarks praising the sacrifices of Telangana’s martyrs, Revanth Reddy questioned the state government’s treatment of their families. He pointed out the stark contrast between the living conditions of the descendants of renowned figures such as Komaram Bheem and Chakali Ilamma, who fought for the welfare of the people, and the financial prosperity enjoyed by the families of prominent historical figures like Che Guevara, Nelson Mandela, Subhash Chandra Bose, and the Gandhi family. Reddy accused KCR of accumulating immense wealth during his ten-year tenure while neglecting the families of those who sacrificed their lives for the cause of Telangana.

Revanth Reddy concluded his speech by urging the public to support the Congress party in the upcoming elections, emphasizing the party’s commitment to improving the lives of the poor and marginalized. He highlighted the role of Congress in providing reservations for Dalit children, enabling them to rise to high positions. Reddy called for accountability, stating that KCR and the TRS party should be held responsible for deceiving the four crore people of Telangana.

As the political landscape in Telangana heats up, it remains to be seen how these allegations and calls for support will resonate with the electorate. The upcoming elections will undoubtedly shape the future of the state and determine whether the people of Telangana continue to place their trust in the TRS party or seek an alternative path with the Congress
