Hyderabad(June, 30) : Rachakonda Commissioner DS Chauhan IPS held a review meeting with Rachakonda Police officers to discuss security arrangements for the upcoming Bonalu festival. The meeting was held at the commissionerate office in Neredmet.
Chauhan directed the officials to make strict security arrangements during the festival and to carry out their duties with the cooperation of the public so that no untoward incident takes place. He also advised the officials to be more vigilant in sensitive areas and to deploy efficient personnel.

Chauhan said that the police will be on high alert during the festival and that they will take all necessary measures to maintain communal harmony. He also urged the people to celebrate the festival peacefully and to cooperate with the police.
In the subsequent crime review meeting, Chauhan directed the officials to take measures to reduce the crime rate in all zones. He also advised the officials to keep a vigil on the old criminals and to prevent them from committing any crimes.
