Hyderabad(Sep, 18): Rachakonda Commissioner DS Chauhan IPS conducted a thorough inspection of the election distribution, reception, and counting centers located at Holy Mary College, Medchal. The scrutiny covered counting centers for constituencies including Kuthbullapur, Kukatpally, Malkajigiri, Uppal, and Medchal. Focus was placed on managing the strong rooms, implementing robust security measures during transportation from strong rooms to counting centers, and establishing a vigilant guard system.
The recommendation for employing metal barricades was emphasized to effectively prevent interaction between counting agents and officers. Metal barricades offer superior durability, control, and enhanced security, ensuring a streamlined counting process. Special instructions were provided for their installation to optimize their benefits. A total of 14 counting tables were designated to be arranged in two rows, with 7 tables per row. Furthermore, a minimum of 25 reception centers per constituency was stipulated, facilitating the electoral process. Additionally, a vast 15-acre parking area was assessed to guarantee seamless bus movement, focusing on preventing any logistical hindrances.
The visit was carried out in the presence of Giridhar, IPS, N Venkata Ramana, Additional DCP, Venkat Reddy, ACP, Kushaiguda, Inspector, Kushaiguda, and various other officers, ensuring a comprehensive examination of the facilities.
