Hyderabad : The All India Pasmanda Muslim Mahaaz Telangana has lauded the Telangana government’s welfare initiatives aimed at Gulf NRI workers, many of whom belong to the Pasmanda community.
The Mahaaz expressed its appreciation for the government’s focus on providing ex gratia support, welfare schemes, and educational facilities for the children of nearly 15 lakh workers employed in Gulf countries, hailing from districts like Nizamabad and Karimnagar.
These policies, it noted, are crucial for empowering marginalized communities and offering relief to families often lacking sufficient safety nets. Adnan Qamar, President of the Mahaaz, highlighted how these steps will help uplift the Pasmanda community and urged the government to continue strengthening support for Gulf workers.
