“The BJP government sitting at the center did not help even a single rupee, every double bedroom house built in Balkonda is built with the money given by KCR” : Minister Vemula Prashanth Reddy
Telangana(Balkonda) : State Roads, Buildings and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Vemula Prashanth Reddy inaugurated the newly constructed 112 double bedroom house complex (KCR Colony) at a cost of 7 crores 77 lakhs in Badabhingal village of Balkonda Constituency Bhingal Mandal on Sunday. Certificates were given to the eligible beneficiaries and they were admitted to the house.
The Minister congratulated the 112 beneficiaries who entered the new double bedroom house today. He wished to be prosperous with all the children. Chief Minister KCR said that to make the dream of owning a house come true for the poor, he is building a double bedroom house for free. He said that there is no such program anywhere else in the country. The minister made it clear that the selection of the beneficiaries was done with full transparency without any involvement.
He said that there is no help of even a single rupee from the BJP government sitting in power at the center, adding that every double bedroom house built in Balkonda is built with the money given by KCR.
The Modi government did not even have a single rupee, under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, the central government had to give 72 thousand per house but did not give. He said that the KCR government spent about Rs 10 lakh on each house.
