AIMIM MLA’s Plea Heard: Government Grants Assistance to Grieving Family of Jaipur-Mumbai Train Tragedy Victim
Hyderabad(Aug, 5):Â In a heartfelt gesture, Minister KT Rama Rao fulfilled his promise made during the Assembly session last Friday, extending vital support to the grieving family of Syed Saifuddin, a Hyderabad resident tragically killed in a communal altercation on the Jaipur-Mumbai train on July 31. Responding to the earnest appeal from AIMIM MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi, Minister KTR took swift action and appointed Late Saifuddin’s widow, Anjum Shaheen, as an Office Subordinate in the Quli Qutub Shah Urban Development Authority. Additionally, the government sanctioned a 2BHK flat to offer the family a stable living situation during these difficult times. Understanding the financial struggles the bereaved family faced, the Minister also provided an ex-gratia amount of Rs. 6 lakhs on behalf of the BRS Party.
In a poignant moment in the Assembly premises on Saturday, Minister KTR handed over the appointment letter, Rs. 6 lakh cheque, and allotment order for the 2BHK flat in Jiyaguda to Anjum Shaheen, ensuring the family received the pledged support. Home Minister Mahmood Ali and MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi were present, witnessing the compassionate gesture. The late Saifuddin, a skilled mobile phone technician and the sole breadwinner of his family, hails from AC Guards in Hyderabad. He is among the four victims of the tragic firing incident on the Jaipur-Mumbai train, where an RPF constable indiscriminately shot and killed four innocent individuals. Minister KTR’s swift action and empathy demonstrate the government’s commitment to standing by its citizens in times of adversity and offering a helping hand to those in need.
