Medak Community Leaders Stress the Significance of Voting Rights

Medak(Sep, 3): The importance of the Voter ID card as the key to exercising the right to vote was underscored during an awareness program held at Rahimabad Mosque on Sunday. Hazrat Maulana Muhammad Jaweed Ali Hussami, the founder and president of Medak Muslim Welfare Society, emphasized the need for everyone to renew their voter ID cards promptly. Additionally, he stressed the importance of correcting any errors in the voter ID card if needed.

During his address, Hazrat Maulana Muhammad Jaweed Ali Hussami urged individuals who haven’t obtained a voter ID card to do so by contacting the responsible authorities in their respective areas or the Booth Level Officer (BLO). The significance of voting and possessing a voter ID card was further highlighted by Maulana Muhammad Abdul Malik Mazahiri, Khatib Masjid-e-Firdous.

Maulana Muhammad Zaheeruddin Qasmi emphasized the importance of meeting documentation requirements, as errors in documents could have consequences for future generations. Maulana Qazi Muhammad Masihuddin Qasmi, president of Jamiat Ulama in Medak district, also addressed the gathering and stressed the importance of the Voter ID card.

The meeting aimed to raise awareness about the significance of the Voter ID card and concluded with a heartfelt prayer led by Mufti Muhammad Khawaja Sharif Mazahiri Qasmi, President of Jamiat Ulama District Medak. Various dignitaries, including Shajiuddin, Khawaja Sohail Mohiuddin, and Syed Umar Mohiuddin, along with a diverse audience of intellectuals, officials, and political leaders, actively participated in the event.
