Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister K.T. Rama Rao inaugurated LB Nagar RHS Flyover
Hyderabad : There was a time when LB Nagar intersection looked deserted, but in the last 8 years, LB Nagar caught such a pace of development that now every facilities are available around LB Nagar. LB Nagar Decorated with metro, underpass and flyover, connects every part of Hyderabad, its direct credit goes to Minister KTR and MLA Sudheer Reddy, the result of whose visionary thinking we are seeing today.
Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister K.T. Rama Rao inaugurated LB Nagar RHS Flyover on Saturday. The 760-meter-long flyover was built under the Strategic Road Development Programme (SRDP). The Minister said that earlier, it used to take around 20 minutes to cross LB Nagar junction, and traffic is flowing seamlessly now because of the flyovers built here. The Minister said that a total of nine projects were completed under SRDP in LB Nagar and three more will be completed by September, 2023.
Altogether, 35 projects were completed under SRDP to ease traffic congestion in Hyderabad and 12 more are under progress.
KTR said that “the Metro line from Nagole will be extended till LB Nagar. Also, he said the Metro line from LB Nagar will be extended to Hayathnagar, and to the airport in the next term”.
On the occasion, KTR big announced that LB Nagar Junction will be named after Telangana Martyr Srikantha Chary, and the LB Nagar RHS Flyover will be named after Goddess Mal Maisamma.
