Major Drug Trafficking Ring Busted: 200 KG of Ganja Seized in Interstate Operation
Hyderabad(Oct, 13) : In a major victory against drug trafficking, the Maheshwaram Zone Special Operations Team, in collaboration with Choutuppal Police, Rachakonda, has disrupted an interstate drug syndicate. Two individuals have been arrested, and a substantial seizure of 200 kilograms of Ganja, valued at Rs. 70 lakhs, was made.
The accused were identified as Sandeep Anil Indrekar and Vishal Kandugadgi, with a third individual, Laxman from Odisha, also involved. The operation, conducted under relevant NDPS Act sections, involved the use of a Hyundai Creta vehicle for transportation and a peculiar tactic of placing a police peak cap to avoid suspicion during transit. This achievement is a testament to the relentless efforts of the law enforcement agencies in curbing drug-related crimes.
